Q: Which platforms are you currently designing for?
A: I currently design on Blogger and WordPress.org (self-hosted).
Q: I would love a custom design, but I am not sure where to start. Would you be able to advise me where to tweak my site?
A: Yes, absolutely! However, there is a consulting fee of $25.
Q: If I want to add a graphic from iStock Photo, how would that apply to the design process?
A: There are two ways to do this. You can purchase the graphic on your own, then email the file directly to me, or I could purchase the graphic for you, then add the price to your final invoice. (Typically iStock Photos are about $1.50 per credit and each graphic averages 10-20 credits each.)
Q: Why do you need access to my website?
A: I will need access in order to edit the HTML and CSS codes of your website in order to install the design and layout. When doing this I do ask that you change your password to something generic, then once installation is complete you can change it back to your preferred log in information.
Q: When will my design by ready?
A: Once I receive your completed questionnaire and non-refundable deposit, I will give you a start date based on my current customer queue. Once I start on your design it takes approximately one week to finish and install. Please keep in mind that this also depends on how many edits are made to the design draft as well as how quickly you respond to my emails.
Q: Will I be able to view the design during the process and prior to installation?
A: Yes, absolutely! I will send you a draft form via email, as well as grant you access to my test blog where you can see the design implemented before it is live on your site.
Q: What are your business hours?
A: I typically work from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm, Eastern time. However, given various circumstances, and the fact that I am a work-at-home mother, those hours occasionally need to be altered. For my most updated hours each week, please visit this page.
